Whether you're planning a surprise on the shores of Lake Tahoe or at a quiet overlook in the Sierra Nevada, having a photographer there means you'll never have to rely on memory alone. I'll be the one hidden in the background — blending in, anticipating the moment, ready when it happens.

How It Works

01 — Reach Out Early The earlier you contact me, the better. Planning a proposal session takes coordination, and I want everything in place long before the big day. Once you reach out, we'll connect privately — you, not your partner — to start mapping out the vision.

02 — The Planning Conversation We'll talk through every detail: the location, the timing, how you'll get your partner there, and where I'll be positioned. I'll share my knowledge of the Lake Tahoe and Northern Nevada region — the spots with beautiful light, the angles that tell the story, the logistics that make it all feel effortless. If I haven't photographed your chosen location before, I'll scout it in advance.

03 — The Day Of I arrive early, get into position, and disappear into the scene. Whether I'm hiding in plain sight or tucked behind a rock on the shoreline, my only job is to watch, wait, and capture the moment as it unfolds,the ring coming out, the tears, the laughter, the yes. No reenactments. No missed moments.

04 — The Engagement Mini Session Once the dust settles and you've had a moment to breathe it all in, we'll flow right into a short engagement session usually 20 to 30 minutes. Now that the surprise is out, you can relax, soak in the scenery, and let me create some beautiful portraits of the two of you as an engaged couple. Same locatio, same day.

05 — Your Gallery Within a few days, you'll receive a sneak peek of highlight images — perfect for sharing the news. Your full gallery typically follows within a week, delivered as a private online gallery for viewing, downloading.
